athGADLANG is looking for a SharePoint Administrator for our reputable client.

Position Overview:

As a SharePoint Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing our SharePoint environment, ensuring it is secure, optimized, and tailored to the unique needs of our accounting and finance teams. You will work closely with stakeholders to streamline document management, enhance collaboration, and automate workflows to support business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, and user permissions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Customize SharePoint sites and develop solutions to support accounting and finance operations, including document management, reporting, and workflow automation.
  • Implement and manage security protocols, access controls, and data integrity measures to safeguard sensitive financial information.
  • Integrate SharePoint with other financial systems and tools (such as ERP systems, financial dashboards, and reporting tools) to improve data accessibility and usability.
  • Monitor SharePoint performance and conduct regular maintenance, updates, and backups to ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint-related issues, providing technical support and training to accounting and finance staff.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including standard operating procedures, training materials, and user guides tailored to accounting and finance teams.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze workflows, and deliver customized SharePoint solutions that align with the organization’s goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SharePoint features, updates, and best practices, particularly those relevant to the finance industry.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions for finance and accounting teams on the effective use of SharePoint tools and features.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a SharePoint Administrator or Specialist, preferably within the accounting and finance sector.
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2016/2019, and Office 365.
  • Experience with financial systems integration (such as ERP, CRM) and familiarity with accounting principles and workflows.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint Designer, Power Automate, Power Apps, and other Microsoft tools to develop and automate workflows.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PowerShell scripting for customization and automation.
  • Experience with data security, compliance, and governance within the context of finance and accounting.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
