Senior Accountant

aG Resources is looking for Senior Accountant for our reputable client in Abu Dhabi

Location: Abu Dhabi

Duration: 6 months’ renewable contract

*** We are looking for the candidates who are locally available in Abu Dhabi and are have Drving License**

Job Responsibilities:

Coordinating accounting functions and programs.
Preparing financial analyses and reports.
Preparing revenue projections and forecasting expenditure.
Assisting with preparing and monitoring budgets.
Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
Assisting with annual audit preparations.
Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
Preparing federal, state, local, and special tax returns.
Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
Performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned.

Requirements & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting/auditing
Prefer experience with financial audit from a reputable accounting firm
Experienced and very comfortable with data analysis in MS Excel (i.e. pivot tables ,VLOOKUP etc.)
Good understanding of accounting for multinational/multicurrency environment
Experience with use of financial systems (Sage 50 is what we use) to generate reports
Strong experience with account reconciliations (balance sheet & P&L)
