About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Manager – Accounts Reconciliation to lead and oversee the reconciliation assignment with a reputable client. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records and driving process improvements across the reconciliation function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and guide the team in reconciling bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts with precision and efficiency.
- Oversee the investigation and resolution of discrepancies in financial records.
- Prepare, review, and ensure the accuracy of detailed reconciliation reports.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper documentation, approvals, and alignment with company policies.
- Supervise the monitoring and reconciliation of accounts payable and receivable balances.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to enhance reconciliation workflows.
- Support audits by coordinating the preparation and provision of reconciliations and required documentation.
- Serve as a point of escalation for reconciliation issues and communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
Qualifications: - Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or CA/ACCA or other equivalent certifications.
- Proven experience in reconciliation and financial management, with a minimum of [X] years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
