aG Resources is looking to connect with Compliance Managers on an immediate basis for a reputable client.

Location: Abu Dhabi

Job Responsibilities:

Assist in developing the Compliance Framework/ Program by aligning entity wide compliance culture with Organizational Plan.
Perform entity wide Compliance risk assessment to assess the compliance gaps and bridge down by applying corrective measures.
Develop the Anti Money laundering & Financial Crime program in the organisation.
Develop Compliance & Corporate Governance Manual, Policies and procedures related to compliance of laws andregulations.
Develop the Compliance Monitoring Program across the organization to develop strong compliance culture.
Liaise with Auditors/Examiners during compliance audits/examinations as assigned.
Discuss emerging compliance issues with management and/or employees;
Advise internal management or business partners on the implementation or operation of compliance programs;
Keep informed regarding pending industry changes, trends, and best practices and assess the potential impact of these changes on organizational processes;
Design or implement improvements in communication, monitoring, or enforcement of compliance standards; and;
Regularly monitors the compliance program and report deficiencies to respective department and assess itsimplementation to mitigate deficiencies.
Verify that all company and regulatory policies and procedures have been documented, implemented, andcommunicated.
Prepare reports requested by the regulator and ensure that all reports are submitted to the authorities within thedeadline.
Maintain documentation of compliance activities, such as complaints received / investigation outcomes/compliance
Provide answers and responses to questions/queries arising in the process of the Company’s operations and inrelation to the provisions of UAE Regulatory bodies by reviewing the Company processes as needed;
provide advice in monitoring the client accounts and in performing continuous due diligence after a client isaccepted.
Develop the Compliance Assessment report for Board & Regulators.
Any other task as assigned by the Authority.
Requirements:

Ideally a Masters’ degree in administration, commerce, accounting, finance, economics or equivalent.
Risk management qualification from a recognised institution.
Minimum 5-7 years relevant professional experience in the areas of compliance gained within the insurancedomain.
Excellent knowledge of risk and compliance procedures, including planning, risk techniques, testing and samplingmethods and tools used in conducting risk assessments.
Proven ability to perform compliance audits for operational and non-operational policies and procedures, businessprocesses, objectives, key management strategies.
Well-developed analytical, communication and presentation skills;
Ability to work independently, remain focused and maintain highest integrity and objectivity.
