aG Resources is looking to connect with Interior Design Foreman to join our team for a reputable client.
Location: Abu Dhabi
Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Review and interpret project plans, drawings, and specifications.
Develop and maintain project schedules and timelines.
Manage project budgets and ensure materials and labor are used efficiently.
Coordinate with designers, architects, contractors, and vendors.
Conduct regular quality checks to ensure work meets project specifications.
Crew Leadership:
Supervise a team of carpenters, installers, and other craftspeople.
Provide clear instructions and delegate tasks effectively.
Ensure a safe and productive work environment.
Mentor and train crew members on proper techniques and safety procedures.
Address any crew performance or behavioral issues.
Logistics and Materials:
Develop and manage material procurement schedules.
Conduct inventory checks and ensure all necessary materials are on-site.
Maintain clear communication regarding material deliveries and installations.
Oversee proper material storage and waste disposal.
Communication and Reporting:
Communicate effectively with project designers, managers, and clients.
Prepare daily, weekly, and project completion reports.
Identify and address any potential project delays or issues promptly.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in interior construction or a related field.
Proven experience leading and supervising a crew on interior design projects.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Valid driver’s license (may be required).
