Junior Accountant

aG Resources is looking for a Junior Accountant for our reputable client in Dubai.

Nationality: UAE local/Emirati

Requirements:

• Graduate in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
• UAE Locals candidates
• 1-2 years of experience in real estate as an accountant is required

Job Description:

• Manage the finances and provide accurate and timely financial information
• Maintain the Financial Accounts on a day-to-day basis without any backlog in an accurate manner
• Provide the Management with Financial Information from time to time
• Ensure all the assets of the company are safeguarded properly
• Ensure appropriate Insurance Cover for all the assets
• Prepare and present the Monthly Financial Statements on or before 7th of every month
• Ensure both accurate and timely presentation of financial statements
• Handle all the Commercial, legal and statutory requirements of the Company
• Ensure timely payment of all dues to Suppliers, Vendors, Contractors, Brokers, Property Owners, etc.
• Ensure timely collection of all dues from Tenants and provide the weekly receivables statement with ageing analysis to the Leasing Administrator
• Closely monitor the collection from tenants on bounced cheques and ensure timely legal action
• Implement cost consciousness across the entire Company
• Oversee the General Administration function of the Company
• Actively participate in the Corporate Governance and ensure strict compliance with Policies and Procedures at all levels in the organization
• Represent the interests of the Owners and be the “whistle blower” of the company
• Motivate the employees and ensure that they give their best at all times
