About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to oversee and enhance our financial consolidation and reporting processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with IFRS standards, collaborating with key stakeholders, and contributing to the accuracy and efficiency of our financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and timely consolidation of financial data from various subsidiary entities to present a comprehensive view of the group’s financial performance.
- Stay updated with the latest IFRS standards and amendments issued by the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB).
- Review financial information proactively, identify exceptions or inconsistencies, initiate corrective actions, and follow up with relevant stakeholders.
- Assist the Manager of Financial Reporting in preparing management reports.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure the proper application of IFRS principles in the preparation of financial statements.
- Perform regular reviews of financial statements to identify non-compliance issues and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
- Work closely with external auditors during audits and address IFRS-related queries or issues.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and statements of equity.
- Partner with key stakeholders to automate management and financial reporting processes.
- Handle ad-hoc reporting requirements as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Professional certification CA/ACCA is highly desirable.
- Audit firm experience is Mandatory.
- Proven experience in financial reporting and consolidation within a group structure.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and its application in financial reporting.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in financial reporting tools and ERP systems is a plus.
