Financial Accountant

aG Resources is looking to connect with Financial Accountant on an immediate basis for a reputable client.

Location: Dubai

Job Responsibilities:

1 Bank:

Preparation & processing of bank transfers monthly bank reconciliation and taking care of bank transfers & bank charges journal entries

2 Accounts Payable:

Posting of vendor invoicing and preparation of vendor payments.
Vendor account reconciliation and Intercompany reconciliation.
Confirmation of change of bank account details maintaining & monitoring all vendor’s accounts

3 General ledgers

Prepayments and other receivables.
Preparing and monitoring general accruals
Monitoring and preparing monthly journal entries for PXIF (deposit/loan) interest

4 Inventory

Monitor monthly physical inventory & unbilled deliveries while adjustment entries

5 Fixed assets

Maintaining & monitoring fixed assets register and processing of monthly depreciation
Creating of fixed assets in addition to FA registers and performing asset counts & verification as per the policy

6 Reporting

Prepares & submits CORE reports with the help of management report tool such as Legal tool and IFRS 7 tool.
Preparation of Treasury flash & Reporting

7 Taxation

Prepares & submits monthly/quarterly VAT return

8 Audit & certification

Preparation of annual FS reports while coordinating with external auditor
Preparation of ICV certification template and coordination with the consultants for ICV requirements and ESR – Economic Substance Report

9 Reconciliation pack

Reconciles & prepares schedule to support recon pack

10 Lease Enabler

Monitoring & preparing entries for monthly lease movement and creating account in lease enable new accounts
13 Budget & Forecasting

Assisting manager for budgeting

14 Others

Coordinate with ERP consultant for system enhancement & set up while monitoring of staff AMEX expenses.
Download Etisalat bills & online payment using AMEX card and coordinate with AMEX for new corporate card application.
Preparing correspondences with bank and preparing finance policies & procedures

Requirements:

Proven work experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software
In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures
Solid knowledge of accounting regulations
Excellent math skills with an attention to detail
Time-management abilities
Confidentiality
BSc degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
Additional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus
