athGADLANG is seeking a dedicated and experienced Tax Manager who is fluent in Arabic and registered with the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:

The Tax Manager will be responsible for managing the tax compliance, planning, and reporting. This role requires an in-depth understanding of UAE tax laws and regulations, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in Arabic and English. The ideal candidate will ensure that the company adheres to all tax regulations and optimizes tax liabilities while maintaining a high standard of compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of tax compliance, including VAT, corporate tax, and other applicable taxes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and payments in accordance with FTA regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations in the UAE and other relevant jurisdictions.
  • Conduct regular tax audits and prepare necessary documentation for FTA audits.
  • Develop and implement effective tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and enhance tax efficiency.
  • Provide expert tax advice to senior management and other departments within the organization.
  • Liaise with the FTA and other regulatory bodies on tax-related matters.
  • Prepare and review tax provisions, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Manage and mentor junior tax staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with external tax advisors and auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and advise on their impact on the business.
  • Ensure robust internal controls are in place for all tax-related processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree or professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is a plus).
  • The candidate must be available in UAE and registered with the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) in the UAE.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and verbal.
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in tax management, preferably within the UAE.
  • In-depth knowledge of UAE tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using tax software and MS Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
