athGADLANG is seeking a technically proficient and dynamic Assistant Manager to enhance our Risk Advisory team. This role is pivotal in delivering specialized advisory services, managing client relationships, and driving the implementation of best practices across diverse industry sectors. The successful candidate will offer strategic insights, promote operational improvements, and ensure compliance with local and international standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Enhancement:
Develop, review, and refine operational policies and procedures to boost efficiency and compliance with regulatory standards.
Perform comprehensive gap analyses and recommend strategic enhancements in operational practices tailored to client-specific needs.
- Audit and Compliance:
Lead internal audits, evaluating both operational and financial controls to identify risks, control weaknesses, and areas for process improvement.
Prepare detailed audit reports, offering actionable recommendations to strengthen governance and risk management frameworks.
- Financial Reporting Integrity:
Assist in the design and oversight of robust internal control systems to ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
Evaluate existing controls, identifying deficiencies, and advising on necessary adjustments to mitigate risks associated with financial inaccuracies and fraud.
- Business Continuity Management:
Collaborate in the development and implementation of business continuity strategies ensuring resilience and sustained operations under adverse conditions.
Regularly test and update business continuity plans to align with evolving industry practices and standards.
- Client Engagement and Advisory:
Establish and maintain robust relationships with clients, positioned as a trusted advisor, understanding their unique business challenges and providing bespoke solutions.
Manage project deliverables and timelines to meet or exceed client expectations, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Leadership and Team Development:
Collaborate closely with senior management and peers to foster a culture of excellence in advisory services.
Mentor junior team members, guiding them through complex projects and fostering professional growth.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field. Advanced qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CPA are highly preferred.
- Professional Certification: Additional certifications like CIA or CFA are advantageous.
- Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in management consultancy, internal audit, or advisory roles, ideally within a Big 4 or similar dynamic multi-client environment.
- Proven track record in the GCC, particularly in the UAE, with a thorough understanding of local laws and business practices.
