athGADLANG is looking for an Accounts Receivable (AR) Accountant for our reputable client.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable (AR) Accountant. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be available to work in the Pacific time zone. This role is critical in ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounts receivable transactions, managing customer accounts, and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process customer invoices, payments, and account statements accurately and timely.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collection.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding billing and payment inquiries.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, such as sales and customer service, to address customer issues and disputes.
  • Prepare and distribute regular AR reports to management, highlighting key metrics and potential risks.
  • Maintain accurate records of all AR transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Assist in month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and journal entries related to AR.
  • Prepare financial reports related to AR as required by management.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve the AR process to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Participate in the implementation of new accounting software or systems as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Assist with internal and external audits related to accounts receivable.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3 to 4 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related accounting role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be available to work in the Pacific time zone consistently.
