aG Resources is looking for a Business Development Manager (IT & Software Development) for our office.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in IT and Software Development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, forging partnerships, and managing client relationships while possessing a deep technical understanding of our products and services. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, sales acumen, project management skills, and proficiency in agile methodologies such as Scrum.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive sales growth and expand market presence.
  • Identify new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation.
  • Build and nurture relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs and positioning our solutions accordingly.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure profitable deals.

Client Handling:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with clients to understand their evolving requirements and provide tailored solutions.
  • Actively engage in client meetings, presentations, and demonstrations to showcase our capabilities and offerings.

Technical Skills and Consultative Selling:

  • Possess a strong technical background in IT and Software Development to effectively communicate product features, benefits, and value propositions to clients.
  • Collaborate with our technical team to customize solutions and address client-specific challenges.
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach to understand client pain points and recommend innovative solutions that meet their business objectives.

Project Management:

  • Oversee the successful implementation of projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including development, design, and quality assurance to deliver high-quality solutions on schedule.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, escalating issues as needed to ensure timely resolution.

Scrum Handling:

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with product owners and development teams to prioritize backlog items and deliver incremental value.
  • Monitor project progress and performance metrics, adjusting plans as necessary to optimize efficiency and quality.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven track record of success in sales and business development, with at least 5 years of experience in the IT industry.
  • Strong technical acumen with a deep understanding of software development processes, technologies, and trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, is highly desirable.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a results-driven mindset.
