Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage assurance engagements by defining the audit strategy in consultation with the senior manager/partner and execute it in compliance with athGADLANG’s policies and protocols.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive audit project plan to optimize and innovate the timing and delivery of procedures throughout the audit cycle
  • Tailor audit procedures based on deep understanding of the entity’s business to respond to risks, including risks due to fraud.
  • Ability to obtain a deep understanding of an entity’s business processes and flows of transactions to identify the relevant audit risks and related controls and perform audit procedures in accordance with relevant auditing standards.
  • Manage projects and engagements profitably by leading the team to perform efficiently.
  • Ability to leverage and apply knowledge of applicable accounting and auditing standards relevant to the entity on audit engagements in order to identify and resolve routine accounting and audit issues and inform entity management on a timely basis of any unresolved complex issues, and where relevant report to those charged with governance
  • Monitor the assurance team’s progress against the plan and alter it when needed
  • Cultivate and manage business development opportunities. Generate new audit business opportunities by understanding athGADLANG and its service lines and actively assess/present ways to apply knowledge and services.
  • Coach and develop people by sharing knowledge with team members and helping team members attain experiences that cultivate technical competencies.
  • Develop people by encouraging individuals to think for themselves and take responsibility for their contributions to the assurance team.
  • Conduct timely performance reviews and provide performance feedback/on-the-job training.
  • Maintain cooperative relationships with other assurance teams
  • Develop and maintain long-term productive client relationships and networks.

Other Requirements:

  • Qualified CA with 7-12 years of experience.
  • Big 4 experience and SAP FAM module experience is essential.
  • Advanced analytical skills and expert in Excel spreadsheets
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines as required
  • Ability to adapt to continually changing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement and discretion in making recommendations and decisions
